If you have specific questions that are not answered below, please don't hesitate to ask!
My camper just turned 5 and is still learning how to get dressed on his own. What should I do? We have three camper requirements: all campers must be able to change into and out of swimsuits, eat, and use the restroom independently.
What will my camper be doing? Check out our activities and sample schedule here.
What is expected of my camper? While at Camp Covenant, your camper is expected to respect their counselors, respect themselves, respect others, and to have as much fun as possible! My camper is 6. Are they really going to fit in with a 12 year old? We have a wide age-range for our camp. As soon as your camper shows up, they are put in a color-coordinated cabin group with other campers their own age. Each activity is tailored to your camper's age group.
What should my camper bring? Your camper will need a bag, bathing suit, and towel for pool activities. A hat and sunscreen are recommended. If your camper might need a change of clothes during the day, feel free to pack that as well!
My camper has special needs. Can she still come to camp? If your camper meets the camper requirements, please call the Camp Director at (770)-460-9451 to discuss!
What if my camper can't swim? Each camper that knows how to swim will take a swim test monitored by our lifeguard the first time their cabin group goes to the pool. If your camper doesn't know how to swim, please notify administration. If you are comfortable with them being in the pool, please pack floaties and notify administration so we can make sure they bring them. If you are not comfortable with your camper being in the pool, they will join the activity of the closest-aged cabin group.
Is lunch provided? Yes! Lunch and snacks are provided every day. Our Kitchen Manager creates a delicious new menu each week filled with healthy options for our campers.
Can I pack my camper's lunch? You are welcome to pack your camper's lunch! However, for the safety of all campers we ask that lunches be nut-free. If you send your camper with lunch, please notify administration so we can ensure the lunch gets eaten!
Let's be honest... Do you all know what you're doing? That's a great question! We have a knowledgeable and mature staff that go through an in-depth application process, come to us highly recommended, and complete a rigorous staff training prior to the beginning of summer.
How do we go about paying our balance? Your camper's nonrefundable deposit ($25 per week) is due by March 1 to reserve their spot. You are welcome to pay the total balance before the summer starts; otherwise, weekly payments are due on the Mondays that your camper comes to camp.
We accept cash, money orders, and checks - if by check, made out to 'Covenant Presbyterian Church' with 'Camper's Name + Reason of Payment' on the memo line. The week I want my camper to come is full... What should I do? Complete the online registration and select the correlating waitlist week! The waitlist does not fill up. When a spot opens up in that week of camp, those on the waitlist will be contacted in a first-come first-serve basis.
